Our company is currently seeking a District Manager who will be responsible for 13 properties in our Indiana and Ohio markets. Through direct supervision of property managers, you will be accountable for all daily operations, while ensuring that your properties meet all goals and budgets.

Your Job Responsibilities will include:
â€Â¢ Manage and direct day to day operations of the storage facilities.
â€Â¢ Recruit, hire, train, and motivate a high caliber team of Property Managers and Associate Property Managers.
â€Â¢ Evaluate local competition and make pricing recommendations
â€Â¢ Inspect and audit properties on a routine basis to ensure company standards and policies including curb appeal, general maintenance and safety are met.
â€Â¢ Monitor property performance and make the appropriate operational changes to reach goals
â€Â¢ Ensure collections are within company goals and collection policies are followed.
â€Â¢ Manage expenses to ensure property standards are met and company polices are in force.
â€Â¢ Maintaining employee job satisfaction.
Requirements:
â€Â¢ Must have multi-unit storage experience
â€Â¢ Prior P&L responsibility
â€Â¢ Strong time management and prioritizing skills
â€Â¢ Proficiency with Word and Excel software programs
â€Â¢ Ability to recruit and motivate people, and achieve results
â€Â¢ College degree or equivalent work experience
â€Â¢ Must be willing to work weekends
â€Â¢ Relocation is a plus
â€Â¢ Excellent Communication Skills
â€Â¢ Travel is required
