Job Description
Kaplan is seeking dynamic and engaging presenters, with a proven ability to motivate others, as part-time MCAT Instructors. In this leadership role, you will provide exceptional instruction and demonstrate subject matter expertise on all sections of the exam. To qualify, you must have a MCAT score (either on the official test or a Kaplan practice test) at or above 33 on the old MCAT or 513 on the 2015 MCAT. While training, prep time, and other administrative duties may be completed at home or remotely, teaching and tutoring hours are conducted on-site in specific locations.
Our self-driven, online training program addresses changes to the 2015 MCAT: new sections and content, the impact on pre-med career trajectory, the role of new MCAT in admissions, etc. Kaplan̢۪s comprehensive training suite (20-25 hours of asynchronous, self-paced modules and exercises) will also help you develop your presentation, mentoring, and classroom management skills. All training and training-related activities are paid.
