LJT & Associates, Inc. provides a wide range of engineering and other support services to the U.S. Government and International customers. We are a business with expertise in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of a variety of engineering and hardware integration solutions. We are seeking candidates to support our customer at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility on the ROC contract.

These positions will be located in the Atmospheric Scientific Research Facility (ASRF) on LJT's Range Operations Bridge Contract.

Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical components of various precision tracking, surveillance, and weather radar systems.
With supervision, operate and maintain S-band and UHF radar systems to include analog, RF and digital systems and subsystems including digital recording devices.
Be able to interpret electrical diagrams and electronic schematics, understand vacuum tube theory, diode and transistor theory and be able to troubleshoot high voltage systems.
Knowledge of digital and analog electronic fundamentals and the ability to troubleshoot to the component level are required.
Knowledge of test equipment operation for such items as signal generators, power meters, function generators, multi-meters, and oscilloscopes is required.
Experience with and pneumatic and hydraulic systems are required.
The successful candidate serves as a team member in a team environment, working on system components, performing operation and maintenance activities with minimal supervision.
The successful candidate completes daily radar log entries, document corrective actions and preventative maintenance activities using Maximo.
The successful candidate generates material service requests (MSRs) as directed
Ensures all mission documentation and safety procedures are followed, test records are kept and comply with current ISO and CMMI requirements.
The ability to articulate clearly to other Wallops Range entities and management, as well as off-range entities over voice nets is essential.
The ability to work under stress associated with rigid time demands is required.
Associate̢۪s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology experience in RF and Digital systems, military electronics schools and directly related experience or equivalent industry training and 2 years related experience
In lieu of formal education, candidate must have 4 or more years of practical working experience with radar systems.
The candidate must be a competent PC user familiar with MS office and special use applications for Radar set operations.
Candidate must possess mathematical skill necessary to perform algebraic skills necessary to solve radar equation problems.
The successful candidate must be able to perform physical tasks that include climbing ladders and towers, work in tight spaces with limited environmental
