Job Description
Responsible for the day-to-day water handling operations to include:
Recycle facilities
Disposal facilities
Pipeline maintenance
Gathering of pressure and rates of wells tied into the system
Maintain all facilities within the required design and regulations
Maintain and repair all well site water pumps and meters
Assist department in daily water transfer needs
Conduct mechanical integrity tests (MIT̢۪s) on disposal wells and water distribution pipeline systems to comply with regulations
Complete all assigned duties in accordance with State and Federal regulations to ensure 100% compliance
Daily Water Volume Accounting input into tacking system
Water Filtration Maintenance at disposal facilities
Familiarity with operation and maintenance of electrically driven water pumps
Monitoring and supervision of system expansion construction activity
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSSingle and multi-cylinder engines
Triplex pumps
Centrifugal pumps
Water filtration (other basic equipment associated with oilfield production operations and water facilities)
Must have strong interpersonal skills in order to work with company personnel, outside vendors, and contractors
Have strong written and verbal communication skills
Capable of documenting pressures and rates on facilities and wells utilizing a lap top
Previous experience working on a computer; including use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and SCADA
Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
Minimum of 5 years of experience
High school degree or GED equivalent required
Strong safety/environmental awareness
